FREE WOMEN’S CLASSES

Each Saturday at 9 am we have free women’s classes, which are great for beginners looking to try out jiu jitsu for the first time. Our goal is not to keep the women segregated, but instead to provide them with a less intimidating option to get more comfortable with jiu jitsu and how to move before transitioning into coed classes. With that said, we also have women who come only to women’s classes each week, which are always free for all women. Classes typically focus on the same concept or series of techniques for around 4 weeks in a row, so if you come every weekend you will get a chance to review what you learned the previous weeks and build on that. Classes are typically run by black belt, Laura Kent, or covered by one of our higher belt ladies.
